Based in a old cotton mill, retaining many of the original features, imagine a Warehouse Apartment meets Old Russian ballet School ! Numerous backdrops and modern feature walls, floors and floating walls (Flats). Lots of props.

PLEASE NOTE AND SHARE STUDIO GUIDELINES - No Porn, No pyrotechnics, No smokebombs, No smoking, No sticking tape or nails/screws on floors/walls (unless specialist low adhesive tape), Please ask before using anything which may cause a mess in the Studio, including liquids, smoke, sand, feathers, glitter etc. Do not drag props across the floor, lift and carry. Please leave the Kitchen clean and tidy, boil a kettle to wash any cups you have used. Do not touch any of the lighting equipment wihout first consulting with the Studio staff. There are plenty of chairs for relaxing, please do not use the newer plush velvet chairs/sofas (ask if not sure). Ask before using any heaters.

Conveniently located just off the Main A6 which runs through Stockport close to the M60 Motorway junctions.
Stockport station is probably a good 20 minutes walk away or 5-minute Cab ride. The smaller Davenport Station is a 10-minute walk away

Studio 2 The Cove Studio

Huge white Corner wrap Infinity Cove - with overhead light track system. Distance from each wall edge back to the centre curve is 16ft and is 12ft tall.

Full Blackout.

Canvas Backdrops and large assortment of Coloramas available. Soiled/damaged Colorama charged at £7 /meter


LIGHTING EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE.

2 x Profoto 500 D1s (cove only) and three of the latest Bowens XMT500s with numerous modifiers. 2 x Lencarta Led 1000 continuous lights (similar to Aputure), 8 x Dexel TV Quality Fluorescent Video lights (similar to Kinos). (7 x LFS-2 each with 2 55w Osram 3000k or 5400k tubes and 1 x LFS-4 with 4 x 55w Osram 3000k or 5400k tubes). Plus plenty of stands, boom arms, clips, clamps etc etc. Lighting is included with cost of rental but is shared across the two Studios, so please mention when booking if you would like anything specific.
